Konini School joined the Māori Language Movement.
At 12pm today (14 Sep) Konini School joined the Māori Language Movement along with hundreds of thousands of other New Zealanders.
Some of our activities included working with the rakau sticks, singing Waiata, challenging each other with Kahoots in Te Reo Māori, reading a bilingual story, learning about things you can do on a Marae, using the Scratch programme to Korero Māori, playing verb and number bingo (all in Te Reo Māori of course), learning a new Waiata with the actions - even the Leadership team did Kapa Haka today.
