What's been happening at home during Alert Level 3?
Thanks Erica's Dad for the cool photo. Check out some photos whānau have sent in, sharing what they have been up to over the last two weeks.
Erica (Room 1), Dad (Andrew) and Harriet had fun visiting the waterfall when there was a break in the rain.
Abe (Room 16) and Jim (Room 13) have been busy baking and delivering notes to their neighbours. Good to see you both using masks.
Birthday's don't stop in lockdown. Happy birthday Aralyn (Room 11), who turned 9 and Dylan (Room 10) who turned 8.
It's great to hear that lots of you have been helping your whānau while you have been at home. Here's evidence of Silas (Room 15) and Reagan (Room 1) working hard to help keep their house tidy. Mum (Kirsty) says they help out regularly with chores around the house. Great work team!
Have a look at some super work that some of our pupils have created at home. Zoe (Room 20) has drawn a picture of what she thinks Konini's Taniwha would look like and has then stitched together a 3-dimensional model of her illustration. Very impressive.
Maisie (Room 20) came up with a pretty cool name for her Taniwha who has a very important job.
Silas (Room 13) has been very creative with his train set.
Ira (Room 19) has created a very imaginative piece of art using her knowledge of fractions. Check out her amazing fraction Peacock.
Toby (Room 3) has enjoyed getting to use the family laptop to take part in class zooms and share his learning via Seesaw. Looking very cool Toby!
Check out the Archer whānau learning together. Toby is helping his little sister, Charlie (who hasn't started school yet) with some careful measuring.
Check out Elijah's (Room 17) trampolining skills.
