Check out our new playing surface

The artificial turf has been installed and the children have been enjoying playing on the new surface this week. The interchangeable basketball and netball hoops will arrive in a few weeks. Thank you to our wonderful PTA and The Trusts Community Foundation for providing the funds that enabled the Board to invest in this great resource.

BoT Elections

Thank you to the community members who have been nominated to stand for these year's BoT election. Voting forms have been posted out. Please return your voting form before 12.00pm on the 7th of June.

Camp thank you

I had the pleasure of attending the Year 5 and 6 camp last week for a whole day; taking part in many of the activities, sitting down for lunch and dinner with the kids and enjoying the talent show in the evening. Thank you to the fantastic team of parents who supported the teaching team on camp. You all did a great job and  your camp skits were awesome. To the teaching team, and in particular, Mrs Ingoe - you guys rock! Thank you for working so hard to organise such a wonderful learning experience for our senior students.

Thank you for your support

I know that the teaching team have appreciated the support we have received from our parent community in regards to the on going dispute around pay and work conditions. The last thing we want to do as teachers is disrupt the learning programmes for our pupils and cause disruption for whanau. Thank you on behalf of the teaching team once again for your messages of support.

Disco Fever

Only a week to go before Mr Morris morphs in to Captain Cosmonaut. Mr Morris will be the DJ and lighting maestro for the upcoming 'Outer Space Disco' that the PTA and staff will be running on Friday the 7th of June. The Year 1 disco will run during school time, from 2.00pm till 2.45pm. The Year 2 and 3 Disco will run from 5.00pm till 6.00pm, while the Year 4,5 and 6 Disco will run from 6.15-7.15pm.

Matariki Celebrations
