EcoFest Community Festival
The annual community festival is now in its tenth year and runs from 20 March to 18 April 2021. Organised by EcoMatters Environment Trust and generously supported by the Henderson-Massey, Waitākere Ranges, and Whau local boards, EcoFest West is Auckland's biggest environmental festival and features more than 140 events across West Auckland, hosted by a range of organisations.
The festival aims to celebrate our beautiful environment by sharing practical ideas to make sustainable living easy, for a better future. Many of the events allow opportunities for kids to dig in and learn something new, while exploring their local communities. EcoFest West covers a wide range of topics and subject matters, most events are free or low-cost and whānau friendly and many events will also be available at any Covid-19 alert level through webinar or other digital options.
All events are listed on our website - www.ecofest.org.nz, but here are just a few of the family-friendly events which might be of interest to your school and families;
