Kia ora koutou e te whānau

Andrew Ducat —

Greetings to all our families

Term 1 has been a very unusual stop start term. We've had a three day lock down, a five day lock down and Easter holidays. In fact, if you count next week, we've only had 5 full weeks of uninterrupted schooling this term. Quite a startling fact.

Aside from Queen's birthday weekend on the 7th of June, next term we can look forward to 10 weeks of continuous learning!

Last week we said farewell to Ms Moxon, who is now on maternity leave. Taylor will be greatly missed and we wish her and her growing whānau all the best for the future.

If I don't get to speak with you before the end of term, I hope you get the chance to enjoy and safe and happy break over the upcoming April school holidays.

End of term reminders:

  • The final assembly of the term is tomorrow at 9.00 am.
  • Community planting bee - Sunday 11 April at 10.00 am. Bring your wheelbarrow if you can.
  • The last day of term is Friday 16 April, 3.00 pm finish.
  • Start of term 2, Monday 2 May, 8.50 am start.
