The 'All Greens' are a group of students who meet each week on Tuesdays. We try and convince everyone in the school to follow the Kaitiaki o te Konini Kura - Care Code.

We encourage students to bring litterless lunches by making posters.   Litterless lunches are all about reducing our waste. We share the very important messages in the Care Code.  Helping the environment and teaching others to be careful with our resources is very critical. We learn about the Environment and Guiding Principles of Enviro Schools.  We know lots of information about our trees, bush and whakarina stream.  

At Konini we have garden groups, a pest management group, a nature group and stream rangers. Sarah James is our new Kaitiaki Forest Teacher and Nature Group Leader.  She is travelling around classes so we can learn about being guardians of our bush area and help new plants and seeds to germinate.
