Late last term a team of passionate students from the senior school started working on the Konini Care Code - Kaitiaki o te Konini Kura.

We worked with Ms Aldworth to come up with some important statements about how we all need to care for our environment. We then worked on ideas around how we could create a cool mural that represented those important messages. It took a while to agree upon the best design but once we did, we started planning our images on the two large wooden boards.

We had to work to a tight timeline because we wanted to get the mural on display before the Matariki celebrations.

If you haven't spotted it already, it's outside the resource room on the main walkway through the school.

As you walk through the school please stop by and take a look at the painting and read the important messages.

The team who worked on the mural were; Yanine de Boed, Emily Kou, Ava Mohns, Olivia Rasyidi, Katherine Penman, Riaa Jasuja, Anna Khan, Lucas Colman and Fuyuka Shen.
