It's hard to believe that we are already halfway through term 1.

By the end of next week the whole school will have visited Arataki. If you have been lucky enough to help out on the trip, firstly - thank you for your help, and secondly, I hope you enjoyed the opportunity to learn alongside your child.

The many rich learning opportunities the children have been exposed to during their trip to Arataki will continue back at Konini. The concept of Kaitiakitanga (guardianship) will be explored further within our local context. The connections the children made with the Pou at Arataki and Te Pou at Konini will also help solidify a stronger understanding of our local history.
