It's hard to believe that this time last year we were just about to start work on the amphitheatre and safety matting for the adventure playground.

Konini School has received a Gold Award for 2019.

Last Tuesday morning on a miserable day Sarah came to Room 19 to teach us.

The year is fast coming to an end so we thought we better give whanau a bit of an update about what's planned for the remainder of the year.

We have a wonderful team of Support Staff at Konini who do an amazing job. Now is time to get behind them as they negotiate for fair pay.

Over the last few weeks, we have been very busy at school. The Year 5 and 6's and Year 3 and 4's have been swimming at GEIS. The walks have been most enjoyable in the sun (one rain and hail day), but the seniors are strong and resilient.

We were blessed with the best weather ever for our Free Range Day. On Thursday 7 November Room 9 spent the whole day outside (free-ranging) doing all sorts of fun activities.

A huge thank you to whanau who have been able to help walk our Year 3-6 classes too and from swimming over the last four weeks.
