Ginette met with participating children and teachers from Wairakei Primary School recently to meet the children and their contributing eTeachers. All Year 5 & 6 children participate in our programmes this year along with 2 eteachers, and 2 still to train. 

The afternoon at Wairakei Primary School started off with a hands-on session focused on exploring some of the features of the WeLearn website. The workshop also offered an opportunity for next year's cohort of participants to explore the site and hear about VLN Primary School with support from their peers. The children logged in to Welearn and updated their profiles, joined their groups and had a good look around. 

The visit also enabled Ginette to meet face to face with DP Melanie, and teachers Colleen, Olivia and Sherryl who are contributing their time to offer additional learning programmes for everyone.  Colleen offers Extension Maths; Olivia, Japanese; and Melanie and Sherryl are working on fun programmes for Semester 2.
