"I’m Darcy! I live in Ashburton, Canterbury and I’m currently in Year 13 at Ashburton College. Outside of school, my passions and interests are mostly centered around different environmental activities and art."

Currently, I’m studying Level 3 Education for Sustainability online, with Kōtu Ako. I’m interested in a career involving either conservation or environmental science, so taking this course was the perfect opportunity to get some insight into the important aspects of sustainability within these fields.

Alongside taking Education for Sustainability, I also have casual work as a "Rethink Waste" educator, with a team that focuses on improving public knowledge about the waste and recycling systems we use."
