Farewell Yue! Yue returns to China after her year as an MLA based at Moanataiari school & working with schools around Thames and Halfmoon Bay School through the VLN Primary. We will miss her and wish her all the best!

MLAs or Mandarin Language Assistants are making a big difference in schools around New Zealand. They support Chinese language programmes, and are great cultural ambassadors for their country. All MLAs are completing their studies in teaching Chinese or English at a Chinese university, and have a year, or sometimes two, to teach and study in New Zealand.  You can find out more about the MLA programme here.
