Ginette has been the go-to person (national coordinator & elearning support) for the VLN Primary for the last three years. She has:

•  organised the challenging logistics of creating timetables (while trying to please everyone);
  
• inducted and supported schools as they step out into the new world of online learning, 
  
• was available to troubleshoot a variety of obscure technical concerns from the user based problem to school networks;
  
• provided in-depth PLD and professional support for our eteachers and support teachers;
  
• taught her own Digital Technology classes;
• and just made sure everything works, as well as it can, for everyone in our complex virtual learning network.
  

The position of national coordinator for the VLN Primary is a complex and often demanding one - hats off to you Ginette for pulling it off so well!

Ginette leaves us to work in her own business, The Technology Hub, to follow her passion for Digital Technologies. With the changes to the NZ curriculum, her skills will be in demand in schools. 

Even if Ginette was able to stay, unfortunately we have no funding to maintain her position. This ongoing saga of sustainable funding for the VLN Primary, many of you will be familiar with, and is another story in itself.
