Speaking at NZEI leaders curricula hui in March, Rachel (VLN Primary ePrincipal) celebrates the end of National Standards as an opportunity for teachers to have the freedom to embrace a wider curricula and to explore how they can collaborate online to access learning through initiatives such as the VLN Primary.

NZEI hosted a range of speakers and asks us to discuss:

  • How do we get this right for our children?
  • How will we enable all children to be ‘confident, connected, actively involved’ lifelong learners?
  • How will we uphold the values and principles of a world leading curriculum, in the best interests of our children and our society?
  • How will this start, from today?
