Reminder: An Exploration of Distance/Virtual Learning in New Zealand
This conversation with Michael Barbour and Derek Wenmouth on May 17th refreshes understanding of Distance and Virtual Learning in Aotearoa
Professor Michael Barbour, a member of our NEX, recently visited Aotearoa in March and April to join forces with Futuremakers' Derek Wenmouth.
A major survey was undertaken in order to gain fresh data on how distance and virtual learning in New Zealand is regulated and delivered, with statistics about enrolments, teacher numbers, courses available, and availability of hardware and software in order to deliver these courses.
Their findings will be presented on Friday 17th May, 08:30-09:30am in an online korero.
This event is hosted by Education Partnership & Innovation Trust, and ticketed by Humanitix for free.
If this is of interest to you, please order your tickets directly from the Humanitix website here. You will be sent a link to connect to the event on Thursday 16th May.
This is sure to be a fantastic opportunity to explore where distance and virtual learning sit in a post-Covid world.
