Empowering Educators: Join Our Professional Learning Groups

A reminder to register your interest with us for the Professional Learning Groups this term.

Thank you to those who registered interest in the PLGs last term. We have a languages PLG starting in week three, and more small groups in a range of interest areas in the planning stages.

There is still time to signal your participation!

Please let us know by Friday 9th May if you would like to participate. The Professional Learning Groups (PLGs), are designed to provide:

  • Mentoring, support, and opportunities for shared practice.

  • A focus on individual professional growth areas.

PLGs offer flexibility and focus:

  • Groups can be centered around curriculum areas, specific teaching practices, or cross-sector collaboration.

PLGs are designed to be:

  • Self-selected and self-managing, small groups.

  • Scheduled with meetings at least once per term, accommodating group member availability.

  • Driven by self-determined agendas for sharing and discussion.

  • A source of feedback for the Lead Teacher group, facilitating network-wide idea development and sharing.

Participation in PLGs offers:

  • Enhanced support within a collaborative community of teachers.

  • Direct contribution to your Professional Growth Cycle.
