PLD session: ChatGPT

Katherine Stewart - June 25, 2023

Ever wondered what ChatGPT can do to assist in organisation and planning for teaching? This PLD session in Term Three will demonstrate the way this generative AI can be used to expedite tasks so that online teachers can focus on teaching.

This session will run on Wednesday July 26th 2023 at 3:30pm.

Our guest, Kit Willet, is an English specialist in secondary teaching and is the school-wide Digitech Team Leader at Selwyn College.

His straight-forward approach will use clear examples of how this technology has already disrupted teaching and assessment models since it arrived in November 2022.

Come along and see examples of how ChatGPT can be used to organise, plan, and create amazing resources for teachers.

There will also be an opportunity to korero about its impact on assessment models, but for the large part, the focus is on how to get to know the AI, what it can do (and where its limits are).
