Our zone qualifiers had a great day at the swimming sports event in Southbridge.

On Tuesday our team of 16 swimmers proudly headed off to Southbridge Pool to represent our school. It was a nice sunny day which ensured everyone had a great day as they competed. 

Looking at the results across the day, it is very clear Ladbrooks School have amazing swimmers and despite our size, we are just as competitive as our much larger neighbouring zone schools. Our swimmers should be incredibly proud and pleased with their achievements. 

Thank you to our transporters Trudi, Sarah, Mike, Bridget & our team manager Anne for your assistance on the day. We appreciate it!

Also a big thank you to our Year 8 leaders - Ruby, Charlotte & Alice who kept a close eye on times with timing duties on the day. Our zone chair is always impressed with our timers performing their duties so professionally. 

We have a group of 7 swimmers who progress onto the Primary Sports Canterbury swimming champs on April 8th.
