The school day is structured to optimise learning and outdoor time.

8:55am - 10:40am Learning Block 1

10:40am - 11:00am Morning break

11:00am- 12:00pm Learning Block 2

12:00pm - 12:40pm Lunch

12:40pm - 1:40pm Learning Block 3

1:40pm - 2:00pm Afternoon Break

2:00pm - 3:00pm Learning Block 4 

Please collect children by 3.20pm and let us know if someone else is picking up your child. We don’t have before or after school programmes. You can drop your children off after 8.30am and they register on an iPad in their learning community. If your child arrives after 8.55am, please ask them to go to the office. If your child is going to be away, please log this in the school app. The Ministry of Education requires us to record the reason for absence. We check the roll every morning and follow up to ensure all children are safe. Please e-mail office@ladbrooks.school.nz and your child’s teachers if your child is going to be away for a length of time. Let the teachers know if you take or return your child to or from an appointment. 

We send alerts via Hero if we need to let you know anything urgently. Please check alerts before you leave for school if there is a trip or event planned and the weather is dubious.
