Community and History
Ladbrooks School has been a big part of the local community since it opened in 1889 and we are very proud of our school. A thank you to Maurice McCarthy (neighbour) for sharing his knowledge of the area.

We maintain strong links with families in the local area, many of whom support our school in a number of ways. Other members of the community support the school through their involvement in pet day, school garden competitions, and school functions, with Ladbrooks CWI being a big supporter.
The Ladbrooks Tennis Club uses the tennis courts and provides tennis coaching. Some of the Broadfield netball teams train at the school. Community members can use the school pool outside school hours and are able to hire the school grounds and pool, both for a fee. Please contact the office for more information on this.
