Mid Year Maths and Literacy Results
After the reporting through Hero in Term 2 and whānau hui this term, teachers have been assessing children's achievement for the first 6 months of the year. Assessments are made using a variety of methods including standardised tests (such as eAstle), ongoing formative assessments (such as marking children's work and giving feedback) as well as their professional judgement on where children are in relation to expected curriculum levels (through the National Curriculum). The results below reflect these assessments at the midpoint of the year. These were shared at the recent Board meeting in the public session.
