Batman is not a superhero. Batman is not a man or even human. 

Batman is a hen, belonging to Anneka Dalley, who is currently teaching in the RLC while Keryn is released. 

Anneka brought Batman to the RLC for a visit last week and she was an instant hit with the children. 

The star attraction boosted her profile further by laying an egg for the RLC. 

Lots of children got to cuddle Batman. Comments from the children were very positive although she was described as 'noisy during writing time' and she went to sit outside on the step in the cage in the sun for this time.
