In March 2017, Ian Paul visited Laidlaw College.

 Ian Paul is an ordained Anglican minister with a PhD considering the use of metaphor in Revelation. Previously, he studied maths and worked as in industrial business. After his ordination, he worked at St Mary’s, Longfleet, in diocesan education, and taught New Testament and Practical Theology at St John’s in Nottingham. 

He is a writer and researcher, known for his blog https://www.psephizo.com/. He has also been the managing editor of Grove Books Ltd and continues as a member of the board. Ian is married with four children. On his visit to Laidlaw, spoke at Laidlaw considering the question “Has Preaching Had its Day?”
