Guidelines for Contributors

Stimulus

Stimulus welcomes the submission of material for Publication.

Potential contributors should contact the editors: stimuluseditor@laidlaw.ac.nz for the Style Guide.

Main Articles should be between 3,000 and 4,000 words. These should represent quality theological research and which speaks to contemporary thought and praxis. Articles must be accompanied by a 45-50 word biographical note. Articles will be reviewed by a blind peer reviewer. Contributors will receive a link to their published article.

Book Reviews. Most book reviews are commissioned, but enquiries from potential reviewers are welcomed. Book reviews are between 800 and 1,000 words, but may be briefer if this is warranted. Enquiries should be directed to the Stimulus Book Review editor, Derek Tovey: derekt48@gmail.com

Reviews must include a 25-30 word biographical note.

St Imulus, The Voice, Hearts and Minds, Ministry Corner and Synergeo are columns of 800 - 2000 words and are normally commissioned. Contributions are welcomed for consideration. These must be signed but may be published under a pen name, these columns are not peer reviewed.

Other items such as poems, cartoons etc are considered, these are not peer reviewed.

Publishing. Stimulus is published June and December.

Copy must be supplied either in MS Word (docx or doc) or Rich Text Format (RTF). Files should be emailed to the Editorial Team at stimuluseditor@laidlaw.ac.nz
