Paula Hale is leaving at the end of 2018 to work with children with complex learning needs

Leamington School —

Paula Hale is leaving at the end of 2018 to move into a Specialist Teaching Role to work with children with complex learning needs for whom the mainstream education system is unable to support.

We are sad to announce to our community that Paula Hale is leaving us at the end of 2018 to move into a specialist teaching role with Patricia Avenue School.

Patricia Avenue is a specialised school that works across the Waikato to support children who are unable to be supported within a mainstream education system.  It is a very demanding and specialised position working with children who may be unable to speak, might be unable to hear or see, who might have mobility or neurological challenges, or autistic tendencies, or a combination of all of these things and more!

Over the years we have been purposefully building leadership and teaching capacity across all levels to grow people so they can go in new directions. Most of the time we can satisfy these callings within our school gates, but sometimes new adventures call which inevitably create new opportunities for others.

At the end of the year we will farewell Paula with our community and wish her well.  For now, please join with us in congratulating Paula and wish her every success as she prepares for another adventure.
