Tuu Kaha is an afterschool programme for boys held at Cambridge Middle School on Mondays and Fridays.
The heart of Tuu kaha is to work with tamariki to stand strong now, and in the future, by building positive relationships and focusing on identity, resilience and connection through a Te Ao Maaori perspective.
Mana Hapori works to
connect with tamariki and their whaanau early in life, and to journey with them
throughout their school years. Tuu kaha is free and open to any tamariki in
school years Four to Six.
Additional to this programme, once a week Tom Hunt and another Tuu kaha facilitator will come into our school to run purposeful activities during our first break. These will be open for all to take part in.
