They say our region is one of the safest and most amazing place in the world to bring up a child. We can't agree more. In addition to some world-leading high schools in the Bay, our region is also proud of our schools for younger children.

Learning Hawke's Bay has four primary school members: Havelock North Primary School, Puketapu School, Port Ahuriri School, and Hereworth School. Except for Hereworth School which is a boys school, the other three are all co-ed schools catering for both boys and girls.

We also have two intermediate schools under the banner of Learning Hawke's Bay: Havelock North Intermediate School and Taradale Intermediate School.

In addition, Puketapu School and Hereworth School also cater for intermediate-school-aged students, as well as four colleges: Lindisfarne College (boys), Iona College (girls), Woodford House (girls), and William Colenso College (co-ed).
