A big thanks to Leithfield School for a successful "Wear Pink or Red for Little Heart Day" which was held last Friday as part of the Heart Kids NZ national annual fundraising campaign. The total donation made from Leithfield School was $403 - thank you so much! Every week 12 NZ families are told that their child has a heart condition and every week Heart Kids NZ is there to support them. The generous donation from Leithfield School will help heart children and their families by providing support services which includes information, training, education, social support, specialist equipment, camps and financial assistance. Your donation could help fly a family member up to Starship Hospital to be with their little loved one. Heart Kids NZ is a not-for-profit organisation and receives no government funding which means it is reliant on the generosity of the public to fund their service.
