Tooth Fairy Stories by Kererū

Dale Munro —

What if my Dad wasn't a pilot and his new job was to be the tooth fairy?

My Dad is a sales rep and he sells seeds. He looks at grass and he drives his big Ranger but if my Dad was the tooth fairy he wouldn't wear his boring pants or his beautiful shoes. He would wear a sparkly bow, a sparkly tutu, and a big sparkly wallet. He would sneak into kids bedrooms at night and swap a shiny tooth for five bucks. He would sneak out of the window and fly to the next house. At day time he would be exhausted because I don’t want him to be the tooth fairy because to drive to special places like Rangiora and Christchurch, Darfield, Hanmer Springs, Blenheim, Pegasus, and Invercargill.

My Dad works at an office, he’s a teacher of the law but I think Dad would like a more high flying job. What about a tooth fairy? Dad would fly high around all night while I went to bed but that would be incredible. What about my cuddles and story? But I want Dad to be so very amazing to everyone. Instead of wearing jeans and a plain tie he’d spread out his wings and shoot to the sky with sparkly pants and blue eyes. He wouldn’t slouch about, he would fly up, up, up in the sky. When night falls he’ll fly into cottages, apartments, and magnificent towers while I wait in my bed for hours and hours. The couch, table, the tumbly chairs, the little kitchen, and the big, big stairs will be made out of teeth. Me and Dad will have a feast! Dad would fly to my piggy bank and softly he would steal my money! In his black belt but he’d be tired out! He would fly into bedrooms and replace a tooth for a sparkly coin. I’m glad dad isn’t the tooth fairy because when I am asleep he is awake and when I am awake he is asleep.

My Dad is a plumber and he is doing the plumbing in our garage. Imagine if he was the tooth fairy, he would fly above the moon. He would give me heaps of money when I lose teeth. My Dad wears grey shorts, a black tshirt, and big fat boots. If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would wear tight tights.

My Dad works at a big machine and he counted up to 300. If my Dad was a tooth fairy he would buy wings if he could and he would fly. He would not wear a vest suit and his steel cap boots. He would wear a pink sparkly tutu, some blue jeans, and some sparkly orange shoes. If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would have lots of money and he would have Fiji coins. He would carry his coins with a wallet and it would be fun to be the tooth fairy.

My Dad is a pilot and he flies in the sky. If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would fly in the sky with wings.

My brother is at school and he’s a higher grade than me. He’s quite boring, all he does is eat bananas and goes silly. He tires himself out and then goes black. He wears a school uniform and if he was a tooth fairy he wouldn’t walk anywhere. In the pool he would fly, not swim.

He would wear tight shiny socks, a sparkly shirt, and underwear. My brother steals money in a bag that holds one million dollars. It’s not an ordinary bag and he has high tech glasses, and a high tech bag.

He would go into kids bedrooms and swap an amazing coin for a tooth. I do want my brother to be the tooth fairy because he is boring.

My Dad is a teacher but sometimes I get a bit suspicious of him because he’s a bit crazy and funny. I wonder what he does at night secretly? Maybe he flies into windows and gets teeth quickly.

I’m really curious and I don’t know what to say. Could my Dad actually be the tooth fairy? That’s crazy! What if he was all that time, he’s the person who put the money under my pillow and does that hard job. My Dad wouldn’t wear a shiny shirt all day and watch tv on the couch. He would wear polka dot tights all night and he would wear butterfly wings oh so tight.

He wouldn’t steer at a screen all night and play games but he would say, “Good night.” If my Dad got coins he would get them from a rainbow and he would fly all around the country looking and looking. He would carry a golden jar with sparkly coins that glimmered through the light of the night soaring through the air with a pair of sparkly underwear.

He would use a special GP’s to track down teeth and complete his task. My Dad would track down teeth and he would swap a sparkly tooth for a shiny coin. Then creep out of sight and fly away. He would creep in and out of sight. He would do that over and over every night. I don’t want my Dad to be the tooth fairy though because one moment he would be out and about and the other moment he’s fast asleep.

My Dad is a Dentist, he fixes people's teeth, he has to fix my teeth sometimes, and Broniks. If my Dad was the tooth fairy that would be cool but he would fly high and he is afraid of heights. He could get over it and he would be wearing tights with a tutu and a leotard with it.

If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would not be wearing shorts and long sleeve t-shirts with jandals. He would be wearing a pink leotard with a sparkling orange tutu, with long tights that are pink with a bow, and a yellow hair tie on his wrist, with ballet shoes.

If my Dad were the tooth fairy he would not be fixing people’s teeth, he would be collecting people's teeth but before he left to go he always said goodnight with a tuck in. He would always come home and tell me about it and then again he is off. He won't be reading stories to me because he would go out and give people money for the amazing teeth.

If my Dad was the amazing tooth fairy he would go to the wonderful bank and collect money. He would collect the money and put it in the amazing big wonderful sack. He would also have a map to find the people and get the amazing teeth. Then stop for money and then go back home.

If my Dad was the amazing tooth fairy he would fly high and sneak into the wonderful kids bedrooms. Then he’d be very quiet and silently swap for the tooth. Then he’d put money under the pillow. Then he’d come home exhausted and he would be in bed.

My sister is frightfully boring, she is only on the couch and she is normally watching tv. I wish one day she will get off the tv because she is boring and I want to play with her. She eats some donuts, I think she is a donut and I get bored sometimes.

My sister is boring but what if she was the tooth fairy? She wears stretchy shorts and her dance top. If she was the tooth fairy she would wear a sparkly gold tutu, sparkly purple flights, a beautiful sparkly top and a pink and purple tie. She would look beautiful.

She would give the little girl a carrot cake that has a chip in it and the girl would poop it out later that day. She would get the money from the bakery and she would get her wand and open it. She would put the money in the wand and fly off.

She would fly up high and break a window. She sneaks into kids bedrooms in the black night sky, she would have to be quiet because she would wake the kid up.

If she was the tooth fairy she would be fun to play with but if she was she would not be fun. I want her to be the tooth fairy but what if my Mum was the Easter Bunny and my Dad was Santa?

My Dad is a farmer and he does the cattle. He looks after the cattle and he does work in the tractor and he does tractor work.

If he was a tooth fairy he would be having so many teeth. My Dad wears brown boots, his brown riding t-shirt, and pants.

If he was a tooth fairy he would wear a pink dress and tutu. My Dad wouldn’t do any tractor work and farm work if he was a tooth fairy.

He would collect people's teeth and give people money. He would use a big sack so he can put heaps of coins in his sack. He gets the coins from his ATM and then he flies up in the sky. Then he gives people coins if they have a tooth missing.

My Dad will sneak into the kids bedrooms because he will see if they have lost a tooth. Then he will swap a tooth for a coin and then he will give more coins.

My dad is a builder and he makes bridges. If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would be exhausted every morning and he would not like getting up early in the morning.

He wouldn’t wear big brown shoes or a vest. He would wear a pink sparkly tutu, a pair of wings, and a tiara. He wouldn’t build stuff and he wouldn’t work on a computer.

Every night he would fly into the sky. He would have a bank account and go there everyday to get some coins. He would get a big pot and fill it up and fly away. He would put it on his back and his back would hurt a lot.

He would silently go into the kids bedroom because if he didn’t he would wake up the kid. He would swap the tooth with a coin. I don’t want my Dad to be the tooth friary because he’s always tired.

My big brother does motocross and if my brother was a tooth fairy he would give me his five dollars. I would dream of him and love him.

My big brother now wears a sparkly beautiful tutu and red skirts. My big brother doesn’t wear boy stuff and handsome stuff so he would now wear girl clothes.

If my big brother was the tooth fairy and he didn't have any money he would have a money tree. You have to press a button so he can get the money and he has to open his pocket in his tutu. He will collect it and I will be asleep so he can come.

In the morning I would look under my pillow and I would collect my money. Then I would jump for joy because he gave me money. So he would jump for joy. I was so, so excited and happy.

I still want my brother to be the tooth fairy and not my mum or dad because I can't imagine how mum of Dad are the tooth fairy. They would be mean to me and get my tooth. They wouldn’t give me any coins but what if my Dad was the tooth fairy?

My brother runs into walls because he eats too many bananas a day and sugar. He has a sugar rush, it is so annoying! My Dad tells him to stop and he doesn’t stop. I kick him in the leg and he stops.

He wouldn't wear his school clothes and he would wear tights, and wings coming out of his back.

If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would give me money and he would take my tooth and put it in a pile. He would have a million dollars. He would buy a car and a mansion and a hot tub. I would go under the sparkly water and play with toys. He would go to the bank to borrow some money and swap a tooth for a coin. When you look under your pillow your tooth will be gone and you will find a coin under your pillow.

That’s why I want my Dad to be the tooth fairy and I could spy on him. I want my Dad to be the tooth fairy.

My Mum is a gardener, she plants seeds and re-pots flowers. She would be much cooler if she was the tooth fairy and she would fly out my window to go as high as she can. She could touch the sky and use her magic to swap all the teeth in the world with coins in a second.

If my mum was the tooth fairy she wouldn’t wear her red and black checkered long sleeve shirt or her bright blue Canterbuy shorts. She would wear a pretty and sparkly purple dress, pretty tights, and white fake wings. She wouldn’t run around getting plants, she would fly around getting teeth and she would treat them like priceless treasures.

She would have a coin factory, a coin tree, a river of coins, and a coin mountain. It would only take an hour to swap the teeth. While she was gone I would be allowed to use the tablet. She would quietly walk into the rooms and swap a white tooth for a shiny gold coin.

I’m glad my mum isn’t the tooth fairy because she wouldn't be able to play her violin at bedtime.

I think Amelia should not work at Nan’s house because I think Amelia should be a tooth fairy.

If Amelia was a tooth fairy I would be sad. My sister wears a purple and black dress and it is sparkly.

If Amelia was a tooth fairy she would wear a pink shirt and fluffy t-shirt. She would wear rainbow wings and some cute bunny shoes. She would wear cute earrings and find teeth.

My sister is going to carry a fairy bag with wings and it is a rainbow. My sister will be lost, she will use a rainbow map, and she is going to the tree to grab money. That is cool. She will tip toe because she can’t get caught because it is safe. She has to put the tooth under the pillow.

My Mum goes to the gym and she works out. If my Mum was the tooth fairy she would fly.

My Mum wears a pink top and white shoes. If my Mum was the tooth fairy she would wear a sparkly tutu.

She will get some money from the bank and she will get her sack, to put the money in the sack.

She gets the teeth at night and snacks into the kids' rooms. She will swap the tooth for the money under the pillow.

My Dad is a stay at home Dad and he goes to the supermarket every week.

If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would be awesome at it and he would give five dollars to every kid. My Dad wears grey shorts, grey t-shirts, and green shoes. My Dad would wear blue wings and a pink tutu.

If my Dad had a tooth fairy bank account with infinity dollar bills and he would have high tech glasses with a map printed on it.

The tooth fairy would have a tooth fairy sleigh and the infinity dollars would be in the back of the sleigh.

At night my Dad sneaks into the kids beds and if they are naughty, they will only get one dollar.

My Dad should not be the tooth fairy because I love him as he is.

My Dad is a welder and he welds stuff. If my Dad was the tooth fairy it would be fun because he could fly.

My Dad wears black pants and black shoes. If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would wear sparkly wings.

If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would have a thousand dollars and put it in the bag.

If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would fly into peoples houses swiping the teeth and putting the money under the pillow.

My Dad used to be a gardener and he was planting plants. If my Dad was a tooth fairy he would fly high in the darkness in the sky and with a lot of teeth.

My Dad wears a t-shirt and it is black and orange. He will wear a sparkly skirt and wings. My Dad will put the money in his backpack and he will put ten dollars under the pillow and keep going to different houses.

My Dad has to be quiet in the kids rooms because the kids will wake up at night. The kids will be tired at night and the kids will have to sleep in the day. He will not get to play in the sun and won’t get to go on the swing in the sun.

My Dad is a builder and he built a house. If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would fly to work and he wouldn’t have time to read a story.

If my Dad was the tooth fairy he wouldn't wear a high vis vest of steel cap boots. He would wear a sparkly tutu, a crown, and orange tights.

My dad walks to the washing line, if my Dad was the tooth fairy he would fly to the washing line. If my Dad was the tooth fairy he wouldn’t drive to the supermarket. He would fly to the supermarket.

If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would go to his tooth fairy bank and get one million dollars. He would put it in his want and find a map on his wand.

If my Dad was the tooth fairy he would tip toe into kids bedrooms and swap a coin for a tooth.

I do not want my Dad to be the tooth fairy because he would not have time to read a story.

My Dad is a farmer and he does farmwork. If my Dad was the tooth fairy it would be funny because he would collect teeth.

My Dad wears farm clothes and gumboots. If my dad was the tooth fairy he would wear a tutu and it would be funny. He would wear sparkly wings.

He will carry a sack and he will put the money in the sack. He will get the tooth and he will leave money.

He will use a map so he knows where he will have to go. I wish I saw the tooth fairy.

At night the tooth fairy will sneak into peoples houses and he will take the teeth. He will leave the money behind and he will fly up to the next house. He will leave money under the pillow and the people will be asleep.

My boring lazy Dad is forty years old and he works at a boring office for his boss or something like that. I would be with my funny Mum, she is a model, and I think she sings a billion songs or something like that. My funny Mum, who is a model, is only 30 years old, that’s really, really young for an adult by the way! I am seven years old, I am a girl, almost a teenager in ahh five years I think? I hope I am right because I want to go to a really cool concert. It’s true as my parents have gone there and my brother and his girlfriend looked after me.

If my Dad was the tooth fairy he wouldn’t wear stinky old brown jeans and hard black shoes with boring t-shirts that are white. He would wear a beautiful pinkish purplish dress that always shines so sooo bright in the blue blue sky. He would wear a rainbow skirt too and he would get a billion messages on his pink magic wand.

He flies up into the sky at night time and he would tuck money under their pillow, steal that white tooth and say, “Good night, bye bye!” He would fly all the way up in the dark sky and fly home sweet home. “No more flying tonight” said Dad, going in his pink bed with a smile falling to sleep with the same dream.

My boring Dad thought he was fun and exciting, not boring at all. I think he is boring though and if you wonder how my boring dad gets that much money, he would steal Mum's seeds. Then he would use his sparkly pink strong as ever power to make the money tree seeds. I don’t think my Dad is boring anymore, hold up he needs to go, I need to say bye bye to him……... “Bye bye love you sooo much Dad! You better be safe and come home early okay?” Dad said “I can’t promise that but I will try my best kay sweetie?” I said “Okay Daddy, good job!” “Bye bye” he said …… “Bye” I said with a sad look on my tiny face.

He grabbed the money off the big money tree and pushed the button. His wings opened wide and he put a big blob of money in his pink wings. He flew in the dark dark bluey purpley sky sooo sooo bright. “I will miss you”. “Same”. We both cried so hard then he pushed the button again so that big blob of money didn’t fall out in the dark dark bluey purpley sky. When dad flew he turned around to me and turned back around to the bright white moon. Then flew from house to house. He finally got inside the house! Those two other houses were locked so he would go to those two homes last.

When he got in the red brick bedroom with a blue fairy door, he slowly shut the blue fairy door and opened his wings with a five dollar note and ten coins. I gave him extra coins because he had a super duper clean shiny pretty tooth. He nearly fell on the floor because she had a beautiful tooth under her blue and pink pillow. What if my dad was the Easter Bunny? I love my dad being the tooth fairy because he will give me more and more money than all the other things, when my shiny teeth fall out. Right daddy? Oh I forgot he is doing his job. Oh no, dads home!
