Athletics training, Tee-ball, Basketball, Miniball, Whānau sports & dates!
Kia ora whānau,
What a busy start to term 4 we have had!
We started in Week 1 with our return of Friday night basketball comp which will run for the majority of term 4. Our two 3x3 teams and 1 5x5 team started with a roar winning all of their games during our first game back. We have mostly continued this trend with our tamariki working hard during training with Vanessa and Mike to achieve great results. Thank you to these two as always for supporting our kura and tamariki.
During Week 2 our miniball team, the Leithfield Flames, with a great game and winning each set. Thank you to Jason for supporting and managing our tamariki on the court - we really appreciate it!
We have been busy with our practise across our kura readying ourselves for Athletics day for our year 4-8 tamariki. Thank you Mrs Luck for organising the day, we invite you to come along and watch:
9:20am start on Wednesday 1st November. Here's the rotations...
During Week 2 we also shared some time with Cody who is teaching us some basketball and the fielding portion of Tee Ball. In Week 4 we are looking forward to the batting portion and having some intense games! Have a look at our kiwis at work.
