Tutahi Tatau News
Here is what the Senior Team has been up to.
The senior team have been working hard rehearsing for the Production and yesterday was the first day with both a matinee and evening performance. The main characters have been learning over 100 lines each and have done such a great job! Every child has had an important role to play in the success of this production, from learning lines, making props and changing sets on the stage when the scenes change.
Every child can be very proud of themselves for putting on an outstanding performance. A huge thank you must go to Debbie Constable who has produced another amazing show. She puts her heart and soul into each production and we are very grateful to her for bringing the Arts to Leithfield school !
The senior Epro 8 team were in the Semi finals of this Science and Technology North Canterbury Competition. They all worked so well together and were a credit to Leithfield School. Thank you so much to Kerry Twose who transported both teams to the competition.
Tui class were fortunate to be invited to the International Film Festival last week at the Isaac Theatre Royal in Christchurch. They got to view world class films and have learnt a lot to inspire them in their own collaborative movie making projects with Amberley and Broomfield school. They also got to have their lunch and a play at The Margaret Mahy Park-what a fantastic day out! Thank you so much to Jo Richards for organising and taking the class.
