Kia ora whānau! My name is Andy and I will be teaching in the middle school team alongside Jenny in 2020.

I grew up in Christchurch a stone throw from the beach. I am also a recent graduate from University of Canterbury where I studied through the Bachelor of Teaching. Before this I attended Christchurch Boys’ high school. I grew up with a love for the outdoors and learning about all different things, people and cultures; I am incredibly excited to bring this into the classroom next year.

A snapshot of me: I have a 2-year-old retriever Georgie and have grown around up around dogs. As I mentioned, I love the outdoors and all things movement (hiking, rugby and baseball are the favorites). Mostly recently I was about to begin playing Ice Hockey, but I ended up breaking my wrist (while ice skating)! Guitar, woodwork and photography are also staple hobbies which I am spend most of my spare time doing.
