Introducing Ruth Hodgkinson
This year I have been lucky enough to secure the role as Learning Support Coordinator for Leithfield, Broomfield and Amberley. I’m looking forward to working with the team here at Leithfield and getting to know the tamariki.

Hi my name is Ruth Hodgkinson and I live locally in Amberley with my two daughters, Ruby and Lucy. I taught overseas in the the UK and Kuwait before arriving in New Zealand in 2006 to take up a Deputy Principals position in Christchurch. After having both my children I returned to teaching as an ORS Specialist teacher, this job gave me the privilege of teaching at many schools throughout North Canterbury. When I’m not teaching you’ll usually find me outdoors, either tramping around our local area with my two dogs, or supporting my daughters with their sports.
