Attendance goal - 90%

The Board of Trustees is making an effort to raise student attendance across the school to a 90% attendance figure. To this end, they have asked that a letter is sent to families to make them aware when attendance has fallen below this figure. The term two letters are being sent out this week. You will receive a letter if your child's attendance has fallen below 90% this term AND their overall attendance for the year is below 90%. The Board want to ensure that parents are aware of the cumulative effect of particularly intermittent absences. Our attendance information is collected electronically and submitted to the Ministry of Education each term.
