Over the last few months we have been working hard to get a resolve around cooling our spaces in the summer months. We are pleased to announce that the Ministry of Education have finally agreed to install air conditioning at LWG. Please continue to read the following important information:

This major project will start this Saturday (13th April). The contractors will be working hard (7:00am - 10:00pm) over the holidays to get it installed. We have been informed that it will continue into Week 1 / Term 2 however the majority of the internal fit out will be completed so teaching and learning programmes won't be disrupted. 

If you are driving past the school you will notice a container in the carpark which will be the site office/sign in area. There will be multiple contractors onsite during this time, so can you please talk to your whānau around the importance of staying away from the building's over the two weeks for health and safety reasons?
