Feb 6th, 2019 is Global School Play Day! A day dedicated to bringing awareness to the importance of unstructured play for the healthy development of a child.

We are committed to ensuring that none of our learners miss out on important educational experiences throughout 2019. If you need any support to pay for school resources, trips and events this year, please talk to or email Sean. Your request will always remain confidential.

Over the holidays there have been further improvements made ensuring that our learners travel to and from school safely.

Our 2019 term dates along with some other important dates will be published on the LWG School Google Calendar which can be accessed on the School website: www.lemonwoodgrove.school.nz/calendar and also via the school app.

Just a reminder that our learners can enter the school grounds from 8:15am in the mornings, however they are not allowed into the Learning Landscapes or Administration area until 8:30am unless something needs attended to urgently.

Lemonwood Grove is a Sun Smart accredited school. With this recognition comes certain responsibilities!

Please join us tomorrow, Tuesday @ 9:30am to formally welcome our new staff, learners and their Whānau!

Our Safe Travel policy states that learners at Lemonwood Grove School are required to wear standard approved helmets when traveling to and from school using scooters, bikes, trikes and skateboards. We have also asked our staff to wear helmets. Thank you for your support around this.

Communication with our Whānau is of utmost importance to us. A school cannot function successfully unless there are effective ways to communicate with each other.
