Limehills School is lucky enough to have a P.E shed that certainly gets its use!

This is a small shed that we keep all of our sports equipment in. All students are allowed to use the equipment during play times. 

We have a huge variety of equipment such as netball, rugby and basketballs. Hula hoops, tennis rackets, bibs and highjump sets are also included, plus much more.

There are two rooms in the sports shed, the first one utilized daily and run by our Year 6 students. Our second storage room holds our Athletics and Triathlon equipment. This room can only be accessed by teachers. 

Everyday the shed is managed by Year 6 students and run using our ‘Kōwhai Card’ system. Each student has their own card, with the system running as a transaction. The card gets held, and returned to the student when the equipment is returned. There is also a maintained log book of what the equipment was. This system is helpful for the students as it teaches students to respect their equipment and our school grounds, as well as gives leadership opportunities to our Year 6s.
