LU Hockey Sports Scholars don't usually get to play together but the South Island Super Six tournament is and exception

The Men's and Women's Hockey Scholars had an enjoyable tournament at Nunweek Park on Friday and Saturday in pleasant conditions.  The Men's team played well throughout the event but missed out on the play-offs to finish 6th in the Open Men's grade while the Women's side reached the semi-finals before being knocked out be eventual winners Harewood. Hopefully next year we will have a few extra subs. Thanks very much to all involved in making this tournament a great pre-season event.
