Many tamariki are arriving before 8am.This is a safety issue.

We ask that you do not send your children to school earlier than this. There are meetings at school before 8:30am and relieving teachers often do not arrive until 8:30am.Teachers are also preparing for the school day and are not always in their own rooms before 8:30.

Next term, when tamariki arrive at school at 8:30am, they will be going straight to their classrooms.We are trialing this for term 3 to see if starting the day in this way makes a difference to learning and behaviour.
