This year the English Learning Area is running a series of writing competitions with exciting prizes up from grabs.

This term we are asking for submissions that explore the theme of whakapapa and the voices of the people. Not only are there book vouchers from Scorpio Books up for grabs, but this term ākonga can win a place in workshop master class with Apirana Taylor, an award-winning writer, poet, storyteller, painter and actor.
