Tausala Night

Jesse Harding —

Tausala Night was hosted in the Linwood College Gym on Thursday 11th of March. This eclectic event is an evening where our Pasifika Students and Polyfest group perform for their family, friends and kaiārahi. These nights are used as a fundraiser to help reduce costs for the costumes and uniforms for our students.

Students, some individually and others in groups, performed while people from the crowd went up during the performance and donated money.

The evening was a fantastic and great experience of Pasifika culture. A great opportunity to connect with our Pasifika Community and see our Pasifika students demonstrate the pride they have for Pasifika culture.

Like last year, several Mairehau students have merged with us for Polyfest so they can perform and not have to miss out. Any questions about this evening or Polyfest, please feel free to get in touch.
