Lakin is this year's winner of the Tony Fomison Award. Lakin has completed Visual Arts from Year 9 and has this year completed her Level 3 Painting Folio for her Visual Arts External assessment.

Tony Fomison is a significant New Zealand Painter and Artist, and an ex-student of Linwood College. His mother donated the private photograph of Tony painting in his studio for the award as part of LC's 50th Jubilee. 

We are very proud of Lakin and wish her well for the future.
