Introduction to the Kōwhai Whānau.

Kia ora koutou,

Ko Jesse Harding toku ingoa. I am the Kōwhai Whānau Rōpū Dean. This is my fourth year at Linwood College and third full year as a dean.

Kōwhai currently has 205 students ranging from Year 7 to Year 13. As always, it has been a busy start to the school year with each ako rōpū (learning group) building whanaungatanga with each other and their kaiārahi (learning group teacher). Kōwhai is the reigning champions of the school House Competition and are lucky to have such wonderful kaiārahi that awhi (support) our rangatahi (young people). Your student is in one of the following ako rōpū (groups) and your student will be able to let you know who their kaiārahi is. The e-mail for these teachers are below.
