Helping students maintain their uniform.

You may have heard the old saying, "A stitch in time saves nine."  Well, here at Linwood College we are regularly proving that old saying is still correct.

Every Tuesday lunchtime, students who have lost a button, popped a seam, torn their shirt or have a droopy hem come along to T9 to learn how to make simple repairs to their uniform.  By taking a moment to fix little things, we are preventing the need to make big repairs later, or having to replace the piece of clothing entirely.

Students from Year 7 to 13 are welcome to join us as we learn and practice basic sewing skills that will help us all life long.
