Junior Jump Jam Team - SECOND PLACE!!

Eva Mullally —

The Junior Jump Jam team performed a wonderful performance at James Hargest College on Saturday the 20th of August, 2022 and came away with 2nd place.

The Junior Jump Jam team meet at 10.45am on Saturday the 20th of August, there were a mix of emotions as we made our way to the Green Room to receive our Jump Jam t-shirts and get ready for our performance.

The team performed "Hippie From Mississippi" and were amazing. They remembered all of their movements, were enthused and energetic, and loud and proud! I was so so proud of them, all of their hard work and efforts paid off.

We spent lots of our morning teas and lunch times practicing and at times it was hard and we felt like we were missing out on playing with our friends, but the team took on every piece of feedback they were given and kept improving. We even had Brett out to visit us and give us some tips and trick, we loved meeting him and he even signed some of our t-shirts on the day!

Our faces lit up with excitement when our name got called for Excellence in Presentation and then 2nd place!! Standing there with our certificates and trophy you could see on the children's faces how thrilled and proud of themselves they were and so they should be. A fantastic effort.

Miss Mullally is so proud of each and everyone of the Junior team members. All the laughs, some tears, sweating, hard work and practices paid off. A very rewarding feeling for all involved. Go Lochiel!!
