In Room 2 this week we have had some amazing stories being written. Cooper and Callum both wrote an outstanding story yesterday about an elephant escaping from the zoo.

Take a read of some of our stories. We have been writing a range of stories recently including our speeches, elephants escaping from the zoo, dinosaur creations, and favourite seasons. 

One day me and my family went to the zoo. We saw a massive elephant. The elephant busted open the door. The door was so heavy it crushed the zoo car, so they couldn't catch the elephant. The elephant was running away. They found the elephant at the beach sunbathing. People were confused! The zoo keepers finally found the elephant, but it didn't want to go back to the zoo! So the elephant ran into the water and went deep down in the water. The next day the elephant got out of the water. Then the police found footprints! They found the elephant, then they took the elephant and it was put back in the cage. - Cooper McLeod 

Once upon a time I went to the zoo and I saw an elephant. The elephant escaped from the zoo and the zoo keepers could not catch the humongous elephant! The elephant ran so fast it got sun burnt! Then the zoo keepers caught the elephant but the elephant would not budge. A hunter came and then the elephant got a fright, then the elephant ran to the playground and there was a beach. The elephant started sunbathing then the zoo keeper finally found the fat elephant! The zoo keepers got a gun and shot it up in the air. The elephant got such a fright that he ran back to the zoo.  - Callum Dore 

Oh no! The elephant escaped from the zoo. Everyone went looking for the elephant. The zoo keeper found the elephant under a tree sleeping. The zoo keeper woke the elephant up and the elephant ran away, oh no! A police car and a police helicopter went looking for the elephant but the elephant was nowhere to be seen. The elephant was in the swimming pool, the elephant had finally been found! - Imogen Morgan 

One day an elephant escaped. It broke into the circus and then it took a big, big, big, big, big, long, good drink! Then a man tried to catch it but he could not. So he set a trap but the elephant got out! Then the elephant knocked a tree down. The end! - Archie Bridson
