On March 20 a Mayoral Welcome was held for all secondary school international students in the Edgar Centre.

There was a good turnout and besides a welcome speech by the mayor, Dave Cull, students got to look at stalls representing Dunedin businesses with some free giveaways. It was also a chance to meet and network with international students from other schools.

Later in March  a “have a go” sports afternoon will be held at one of the Logan Park playing fields which will give students a chance to try different sports and socialise. There will also be a barbeque.
