Congratulations to Y13 students David Prime and Ola Szukiel who represented Warrington Taekwondo Club in the South Island Taekwondo Championships in Blenheim in early June. 

Competing in Poomsae, Ola won the silver medal in her individual pattern and a gold medal with David in the pairs competition. David won a silver medal in his fighting division, a gold medal for his individual Poomsae, as well as the gold with Ola in the pairs. 

David then went on to beat the eight other individual Poomsae gold medalists to bring home another gold medal and the South Island Poomsae Champions trophy.
