Being an international prefect was an interesting part of this year. 

I've been involved with international activities before, but this year I took part in helping to organise the majority of them. It was so much fun. I got to know other international students much better and I had a chance to have a decent conversation with all of the internationals. I also had a chance to help new students, show them around the school, answer their questions and get to know them. However, as I shared the role with Ryan Ong, I  wasn't the only international prefect, so it wasn't too stressful, more of an opportunity to learn and develop. Now I hope I have the skills to be a leader and actually perform in front of people. 

The highlights were helping with the International Food Festival, the International Concert and Race Unity Assembly. Now we are planning a dinner for our host families to say thank you and show how much we appreciate all that they have done for us. Overall, it was a great year for me and I think being an international prefect made it even better, more interesting and full of amazing possibilities.
