In March, 12 senior boys and their master Tsurunaga Sensei from Keio High School Kendo Club in Japan visited Logan Park High School.

Kendo is a Japanese Martial Art and Logan Park has been running a Kendo Club for just over a year with great success. Our students were wonderful hosts and Keio High school enjoyed their tour of the school and a fun session on the climbing wall. 

Keio High school also put on a wonderful Kendo display at lunchtime in the gym. It was very interactive and our students enjoyed the opportunity to try something new. After school the two school clubs joined together for two hours of intensive Kendo. The exciting outcome of this visit is that the Logan Park Kendo Club has grown in numbers.
